New Zealand Earthquake

An earthquake measuring 6.3 magnitude rocked the second largest city in New Zealand, Christchurch this day. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 2011/02/21 23:51:43 local time, or Monday (2/21/2011) GMT at a depth of only 4 km (2.3 miles). With a depth of only 4 km I think the shocks that occurred very hard and able to knock down buildings. The quake was centered about 10 km southwest of Christchurch, which has suffered damage from an earthquake measuring 7.1 last September.
