OMG! A giant crocodile which weighs 1075 kilograms arrested in the Philippines, the length of this giant crocodile reached 6.4 meters. This giant crocodile captured by villagers and officials of captive breeding crocodile located in Bunawan, Agusan del Sur province, Philippines. Bunawan Mayor Cox Elorde said, the male crocodile snared and captured by dozens of villagers near the river after they held a hunt for three weeks.
Elorde said the giant crocodile ate a water buffalo in an attack witnessed by villagers last month and was suspected of killed a fisherman who went missing in July.
Elorde said he sought the experts help at a crocodile farm in western Palawan province. And about 100 people had to pull the one-ton saltwater crocodile, which weighs about 2,370 pounds, and reach 21-foot long, from the creek to a clearing where a crane lifted it into a truck. After initial sightings at a creek, the hunters set four traps, which the crocodile destroyed. Then they used sturdier traps using steel cables, one of which finally caught the enormous reptile late Saturday.
The giant crocodile will be the biggest star of tourist attractions. It was placed in a fenced cage in an area where the town plans to build an ecotourism park for species found in a vast marshland in Agusan, an impoverished region about 515 miles southeast of Manila.
