The earth we live in is getting old and weak. need awareness and cooperation to keep our earth remains sustainable. No matter how small our efforts if done continuously will be very meaningful. One is to follow the activities called 'Earth Hour' on Saturday 26th March 2011 at 8:30 - 9.30 PM (local time).
Earth Hour is a global activity organized by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday in March every year which ask for homes and offices to turn off lights and electrical appliances (which are not necessary) during one hour to raise awareness on the need for action on climate change.
Much electrical energy generated from the reactor that can produce a lot of air pollution. By turning off lights and appliances for one hour, then more energy can be saved pollution can also be pressed. Turn off electricity for one hour only a first step, we must make saving electricity as a way of life, the pattern of life in the future.
Earth Hour campaign is supported by the victory secret model Miranda Kerr, Italian football player Francesco Totti, Desmod Tutu, UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon. And world celebs such as Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Yoko Ono, Giselle Bundchen to Chris Martin is also the ambassador for this campaign.
