Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere. No matter whether you're on the road or at sea, fatal accidents can happen. Most often, accidents occur because of bad weather, storms or extreme winds. Especially at this time, the vehicle is equipped with adequate safety devices and communications equipment and a reliable gps. But, still, accidents can occur, including when you are on a luxury yacht. Are you remember the Titanic?, the luxury cruise ship of its time that sank after hitting an iceberg.

Similar events occur in Italy. A luxury cruise ship sinking after hitting a reef. the Costa Concordia cruise ship ran into coral at Italy seas, Friday night, January 13th, 2012. As a result, the hull was torn over 50 meters. Cruise ships that carry 4000's passengers and crew. They consist of the original Italian thousand passengers, 500 citizens of Germany, the original 160 French, 126 Americans, and about a thousand sailors.

Costa Concordia ship management company assumed the captain had "made a mistake" to lead the luxury cruise ship hit a reef off the coast of the island of Isola de Giglio, Italy. Captain Francesco Schettino has arrested on charges of involuntary homicide. Chief police investigator said the luxury ship was "too close to the Giglio".

Cruise ship Costa Concordia is the largest cruise ship ever built by the Italians. Ships worth 450 million euros were made since January 19, 2004 in Sestri Ponente, Genoa, Italy. On 2 September 2005, the ship is capable of traveling at 21.5 knots or 39.8 kilometers per hour was launched. Concordia-class ship was operated by Costa Cruises since June 30, 2006.

Italian cruise ship, Costa Concordia, which hit a reef and sank off the coast of Italy last Friday night was already showing a bad sign since the initial launch on September 2, 2005. Champagne bottle being thrown into the body of a luxury ship, the traditions are wont to do when launching a new ship, not broken as it should. And, for the sailors it is a sign of bad luck.

Concerns began to prove on November 22, 2008, when the ship was damaged after hitting the dock when entering the port of Palermo, Sicily in the storm! The same ship later made headlines worldwide after crashing into rocks and ran aground on the west coast of Italy with killing at least three people while around 17 others still missing.

Interestingly, the tragedy occurred on Friday 13th, January that for some people regarded as an unlucky day. An effort to find people who still trapped on board the Costa Concordia continues with scuba-divers accessing parts of the ship cut off from other rescuers by the sea.
