Congratulations, Messi!



The election of Lionel Messi as the recipient of the 2010 FIFA Ballon d'Or leaves doubt. Barcelona icon is "answered" no doubt by scored the 3 goals victory when they beat Real Betis,5-0 at the first fight round Copa del Rey quarterfinals.

Out of prediction a number of parties, Messi won the award which is a combination of the Ballon d'Or award from France Football and FIFA World Player.

At first, many people expect that FIFA Ballon d'Or would fall into the hands of Xavi or Iniesta who has successfully brought Spain to win the 2010 World Cup.
However, Messi victory then break prediction. Achievements performance of Argentinian player with Barcelona seems more a count rather than with Argentina in South Africa last summer.

Phenomenal achievement by scoring 47 goals and 11 asisst of 53 games with Barcelona last season, made the right holders vote their choice to Messi. Which has the right to vote in this voting is the coaches, national team captain, and journalists around the world.

This is the second title for Messi. Earlier, last year he was awarded the FIFA World Player of the Year and won the Ballon d'Or from France Football magazine.

    Alright! I'm really glad that Messi made it, though I kinda hope that either Xavi or Iniesta would an have an award too soon. Both of them deserve it!:D
