Li Na meets Schiavone at the French Open Final 2011

Chinese tennis player Li Na reached the French Open final. After at semifinals, Li Na beat Maria Sharapova. In the match held on Thursday (02/06/2011) night local time, Li Na who is seeded sixth place end seventh seed resistance, Sharapova, in straight sets 6-4 and 7-5.

This is the second successive grand slam final for Li Na of this year, after the player was signed at the Australian Open final in January. Unfortunately she was defeated by Kim Clijsters. In the final, Li Na will face the defending champion Francesca Schiavone, on Saturday.

The 29-year-old player is listed as the first woman from Asia who won the grand slam, after conquered Francesca Schiavone at the French Open final on Saturday (4/6/11). In a match that lasted 1 hour 47 minutes, Li Na win straight sets 6-4, 7-6.
